Boys Soccer Wins Their First Round Playoff Game. Second Round Thursday night.

ROYERSFORD –Austin Eveland scored off a rebound with 2:00 left in overtime to propel (21) Kennett to a 2-1 victory over (12) Spring-Ford in the opening round of the District 1-AAAA playoffs Tuesday night.
Eveland found the back of the net after retrieving freshman Daniel Kunzig’s hard drive to send the Blue Demons (11-6-2) into a second-round matchup Thursday night at 7:00 pm at No. 5 North Penn.
Kunzig also set up Nicholas Brison for a tide-turning strike just 30 seconds before halftime to forge a 1-1 standoff, erasing Nate Alban’s goal off a Ronnie Minges cross in the 25th minute for the host Rams (12-6-2).
Kennett, which shared the Ches-Mont American title with Unionville, also got solid work from its defense and keeper Moises Almanza Romero (seven saves).
